Job Summary:
Entry level workers to do tasks requiring little training and to assist more skilled workers. Perform a broad array of routine tasks needed to make the work of more skilled employees flow smoothly.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Load, unload and move construction material from the railcars. Shovel and clean up under conveyors. Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
Abilities required:
Must be able to perfom heavy manual labour under adverse weather conditions. Familiarity with the materials, tools and machinery used. Some experience as a general construction labourer. Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
